Mumford And Sons - Glastonbury 2011

Mumford & Sons
Live at the Glastonbury Festival, UK - 2011

Glastonbury Festival has proved an important marker in the ascension of this London four-piece from indie-folk backing band to award winning main stage stars.
2011 was the Mumfords fourth consecutive Glastonbury appearance since their Park Stage debut in 2007. The endless sea of Sigh No More fans who surrounded the John Peel Stage for last year's set meant the grand open space of the Other Stage was a must for this time.
Despite the rain, Mumford & Sons again performed a very solid set which includes some great new material.
The song "Thistle & Weeds" is missing from this show as it was not broadcast.

  1. Mumford and Sons got it right, at least for me. I haven't heard a complete CD this good in so many years I couldn't actually figure out how long, I'm guessing 15 years. Every song is great, there isn't one I don't like. It is going to be hard to top this when the next CD comes out.
